Frontend developer and graphic designer based in Lagos, Nigeria — building things that are both functional and beautiful.
I'm Sulaimon Taoban, a Lagos-based developer-designer with 3+ years of experience at the intersection of code and visual craft. I build things that work beautifully — from pixel-perfect UIs to expressive brand identities.
My path started in graphic design — creating flyers, logos, and brand identities for local businesses across Lagos. Then I picked up code. Instead of abandoning design for development, I found a way to hold both. That dual fluency is what makes my work different.
I believe the web is still the most powerful creative medium we have. Every interaction, every transition, every typographic choice is an opportunity to communicate something meaningful. I don't want to ship just functional — I want to ship memorable.
When I'm not building, I'm writing about the intersection of design and development, exploring African visual culture in digital contexts, or finding ways to make open-source tools more beautiful.
I'm currently open to freelance projects, full-time roles, and interesting creative collaborations. If you're building something that needs both engineering rigor and design sensibility — let's talk.
